Permethrin liquid is an insecticide that is used to treat lice infestations and scabies. It appears as a yellow to light orange-brown substance in the form of viscous solution or low melting solid. Belonging to the pyrethroids, this compound is same as pyrethrins. A few pyrethroids with a chrysanthemic acid esterified with a phenoxybenzyl or cyclopentenone (pyrethrins).

APPLICATION :- For the treatment of infestation with Sarcoptes scabiei (scabies).

DESCRIPTION :- A pyrethroid insecticide commonly used in the treatment of lice infestations and scabies. It is a yellow to light orange-brown, low melt-ing solid or viscous liquid.This compound belongs to the pyrethroids. These are organic compounds similar to the pyrethrins. Some pyrethroids containing a chrysanthemic acid esterified with a cyclopentenone (pyrethrins), or with a phenoxybenzyl.
