The IUPAC name of Belladonna Extract is 2-[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-N,2-dimethyl-N-[4-(2-methylphenyl)-6-morpholin-4-ylpyridin-3-yl]propanamide. The molecular formula of this compound is C29H29F6N3O2. It is widely used in the treatment of motion sickness, nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramping associated with menstruation, and to reduce nighttime urination. The drug also provides relief from different situations caused by Parkinson's disease including rigidity, tremor, excessive salivation, and sweating. It is also believed to control conditions such as colitis, spastic bladder, diverticulitis, infant colic, renal and biliary colic, and peptic ulcer.
